Being a student at The Polytechnic, Ibadan is a mix of excitement, hustle, and real-life lessons. From day one, I was amazed by the lively campus life—there are always clubs, events, and opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds. Hostel life is full of memories, and you never feel alone because there’s always someone to talk to or help you out.

Academically, it’s not a walk in the park—lecturers can be strict, and you have to manage your time well to keep up with assignments and tests. Sometimes, there are challenges like limited Wi-Fi, paying for things you don’t really use, or running around to get signatures from your HOD. But all these experiences have taught me to be independent, resourceful, and focused on my goals.

The best part is the sense of community—whether it’s group study, sports, or just hanging out, you build friendships that make everything easier. Even with the ups and downs, I’m grateful for the chance to grow, learn, and prepare for life after school. 😊
